How to deploy SolusVM Master node?

This article describes steps required to install SolusVM Master.

Installation requirements
Clean install of CentOS/RHEL/Scientific with one of the supported OSes:
CONFIG_TEXT: CentOS 6/7
RHEL 6/7
Scientific Linux 6/7
OpenVZ 6/7 (for OpenVZ containers)
Warning: Installation of SolusVM Master on a Xen/KVM slave servers is not supported.
It is strongly NOT recommended to install SolusVM Master on the server that has any other control panel installed (Virtualization, Plesk, cPanel, etc.)
Slave only Master Installation
Note: Slave only Master installation allows to have only slave nodes added. It is not possible to provision OpenVZ containers on the same node where SolusVM Master is installed.
- Once the clean server is deployed, connect to it via SSH
- Download and run SolusVM Installer:
# wget https://files.soluslabs.com/install.sh
# sh install.sh - On main menu screen choose option 1:
- Wait until the installer completes the installation. After that access SolusVM web interface using a link generated by the installer
Master node + OpenVZ installation
It is possible to install SolusVM Master on the OpenVZ server. In that case containers can be provisioned on the same server where SolusVM Master is installed.
- Prepare the server with OpenVZ installed using installation ISO image
- Download and run SolusVM Installer:
# wget https://files.soluslabs.com/install.sh
# sh install.sh - On main menu screen choose option 2 or 3 depending if basic templates are required or not:
- Wait until the installer completes the installation. After that access SolusVM web interface using a link generated by the installer
